“My advice to new travelers is not to be hesitant. Go with your gut. It’s good to plan out your trip, but not so much that you are hindered by your schedule. The first time I left the country, I took a six week camping trip around Europe, in a bus. We went to multiple different campsites for a brief period of time, so it was really rushed. It was okay because I got to get an idea of where I wanted to go back to. I always try to find a way to travel. That’s why I’m here — I went to a teaching conference at Bowdoin College, so I figured I’d visit my family in Mass, check out New Hampshire, and spend a few days in Boston. There’s always an excuse to travel. Always.”
